Outdoor Pistol Range Backstops
A new method for backstops on the pistol range is being used. There are pipes embedded in the ground on 24″ centers that will accept 2×4’s. By the end of the summer you will need to bring your own backstop frame.

NOTICE: Vote on New Range Rules at April 10th Meeting
The issue of backstop destruction has prompted a motion to set a ONE ROUND LIMIT when using the outdoor ranges. Others have suggested using a more economical backstop or setting a 2 second TIMED interval between shots to encourage well aimed shooting.
Attend the April 10th Meeting to vote on this motion or suffer the consequences.
Outdoor Ranges Closed
The Rifle and Pistol Ranges are closed until construction crews have finished their work. Thank you for your patience.
Heavy excavation and seeding is nearly finished and has removed the dog-leg on the 200 yd range and put the pistol range at the same elevation as the rifle range, with a berm in between. Dave Morris is looking for helpers, use our contact page to email us and we’ll get you involved. Shooting buildings should be finished this spring.
Outdoor Range
The road down to the range will be worked on this coming week to smooth out the ruts and add a layer of gravel. The new shooting pavilion will be layed out as will the fill-in of the dog-leg on the 200 yard range. Work is not expected to interfere with normal shooting hours.
