Outdoor Rifle and Pistol Range beyond the automatic gate next to the indoor pistol building is only open to members and invited guest of members. It will be open to the public during league shoots only. The outdoor ranges are reserved for police use on Thursdays only. They do not all ways use it on Thursday but when they do there will be a range closed sign on the gate. NOTE TO PISTOL SHOOTERSYou must keep your targets elevated at 4 feet so your bullets hit the dirt back stop or move them all the way back to the back stop to prevent bullets from hitting the rocky ground and going up through the trees. Beware there are walking trails in the woods and also houses on the other side of the woods. Please be safe not sorry. There is still a lot of damage being done to the wood frames at the rifle range. We are actively looking for these non logical un-sportsmen Like type people with little regard for property and other members enjoyment. When we find those people they will no longer be members of this club and we have the right to prosecute for damages. We are asking all members to keep an eye out for these type of people that are doing damage to your club. Please get their license plate number and report time and date. Thank you TSC. Safety Note: Shooting age starts at 10 years old for Rim fire (22LR). Shooting age starts at 12 years old for Center fire (pistol, rifle, shotgun). Be safe and don’t permanently injure your child’s shoulder.
Take note also that all Outdoor ranges are open from dawn to dusk 7 days a week except for the Rifle, Pistol and small shotgun ranges start at 11:00 AM on Sundays. READ ALL RANGE RULES.

Outdoor Pistol Range – A 4 foot high minimum target height rule is now in effect!

Beginning now you will need to Bring Your Own Target Holder 4 foot high when using the outdoor pistol range. There are rail road ties sitting on the ground with built in rear slots on the back. They will accept a 2×2, 2×4 or a 1x in the rear slots. So a single board or a 24″ frame can be used. The club made backstops were being shot-up faster then we could make them and left laying all over the ground. The Club will still maintain the backstops on the rifle range. People it is your range take care of it.

Note: Pistol and rifle ranges open at 11:00 AM on Sundays.
